With the success of the Barbershop movies, and with at the time Queen Latifah’s growing fame following her Academy Award nomination for her supporting role in Chicago, it’s no surprise there would be a spin-off with Beauty Shop which had a good heart at its core.

Ice Age: Collision Course is one of the worst animated movies, professionally done anyway, I’ve ever come across. The animation itself was fine but the jokes were terrible and rarely landed and the story is haphazard and lazily done.

Ice Age: A Mammoth Christmas Special is a fun animated short and fans of the Ice Age franchise will get a kick out of it. And even if you haven’t seen the other films, there’s still a fun time to be had. With regards to the Blu-ray, given the retail price is $15, that is a bit steep even with a discount. If you can grab this for $5 then it’d be worth it.
