Miss You Already might be a clichéd drama but the performances, especially Toni Collette, and some of the writing, especially in how it relates to the battle with cancer – both on clinical and personal points – at least helps make it entertaining if not on an emotional level.

The World’s End has its moments and I did chuckle more than once but the characters, Pegg’s especially, are mostly un-redeemable twats though since for the most part they’ve worked together in the past, they at least share a friendly comradery with one another and it’s always nice to see Rosamund Pike in a movie…

Blitz might not be a top notch British crime-drama but I did find it mostly impressive even if Statham doesn’t exactly stretch his acting abilities as this character isn’t that far removed from his others. That being said, it was at least a compelling film that managed to entertain me for the 95-minute running time.
