Say what you will about Eli Roth as a filmmaker, this History of Horror limited series was a lot of fun with a wide variety of participants with directors, actors and members of academia in a wide range of discussions of horror.
Toy Story 4, while hardly the best in the franchise, is still a great bookend, maybe not so much for the group as a whole, but instead for the beloved Woody character and in turn, the life Tom Hanks gave him.
Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie isn’t bad by any stretch, but this is the kind of movie aimed squarely at those in the 8-13 age group and while I didn’t the jokes landed that well, it’s passable enough for parents to watch with their kids.
Keanu is a cute, sometimes funny, comedy from Jordan Peele and Keegan-Michael Key and while the jokes don’t always land, the satirizing of various other movies did manage a few chuckles out of me.
