Cinderella Liberty is a well acted, if not uneven, drama-romance with two great performances by James Caan and Marsha Mason who did receive an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress.
The Outsider hardly breaks new ground in the action/thriller genres but its breezy entertainment for 90-minute duration and features respectable enough acting work from the cast even if the actions of the characters don’t make a lick of sense. The Blu-ray does have a whole lot to offer with no features and standard audio/video transfers.
Dick Tracy is hardly a perfect movie but star/director Warren Beatty does a tremendous job translating the source material into the feature film format. Between the art direction, production and costume designs, the visuals on the movie are fantastic and Beatty as Tracy was perfect. The Blu-ray unfortunately doesn’t have any features but the audio/video transfers make this a good purchase… at the right price.
