Black and Blue was a surprisingly solid corrupt-cop centric thriller from Deon Taylor, director behind Traffik, and features some strong performances by Naomi Harris, Frank Grillo and yes, even Tyrese Gibson.
Into the Ashes had some potential but the first 35-40 minutes were meandering at best, dull at worst and nothing in the remaining hour could make up for it, though even then, some storytelling choices were a bit odd.
Reprisal is just another forgettable direct-to-video thriller from the illustrious Grindstone Entertainment production company and it’s also another film featuring a lackluster performance from Bruce Willis.
Captain America: Civil War is a good movie for sure and I did enjoy elements of it and the fight between Cap and Iron Man was well done, however, the film does have its issues but on the whole is entertaining.
