Supergirl: Season 3 is a solid year for the Girl of Steel and features a fine performance from star Melissa Benoist who absolutely owns the role. The writing, however, still is weak though some of the actual storylines were decent and had some cool villains.

The Butterfly Effect 2 is a waste of celluloid and time. Although I might not have been the biggest fan of the previous entry, it at least had some interesting ideas behind it, not to mention a character I could actually somewhat care about. This one however has 1-dimensional characters and our main guy is a Grade A douche. The Blu-ray itself doesn’t offer much but has most of the features and decent audio but the video transfer has much to be desired, though it’s probably better than the DVD version.

“Smallville” The Final Season is hardly perfect and there’s still issues with the writing, but I thought the season long plot and the forwarding of the Clark and Lois relationship makes this a solid year and far better than the ninth season. The Blu-ray has good video and audio transfers but the features once again fall short.
