Beautiful Creatures is hardly a perfect fantasy movie but it did at least surpass my expectations thanks to the fact it’s a competently film that is way above anything the Twilight movies have done. The two leads are amazing and some of the visual effects are well done even if the story grows a tad thin for its two-hour running time.
Poseidon isn’t the absolute dud some have made it out to be. If you don’t compare it with the 1972 classic, it’s actually an enjoyable film, but it’s also fascinating to see the tons of money Warner Bros. and the production companies shelled out to put forth such amazing spectacles and yet an incredibly, at best, average script.
Dare is described as a Cruel Intentions flick, but with less nudity, less hot chicks, and more male-on-male scenes. It’s just not my week for reviewing flicks. I’m starting to think I’m being punished for something.
