This X-Men: 3-Film Collection is okay and does come with good video upgrade and already solid audio, however the big downside with this set is that the studio failed to port over the second discs for each film which contained some expansive documentaries.

Paramount Pictures has announced the date and released artwork for the second Hercules movie to come out in 2014, this one starring Dwayne Johnson, Ian McShane, John Hurt, Joseph Fiennes and Rufus Sewell. It is the latest from Brett Ratner delving into the fantasy-action-adventure genre.

Tower Heist has a few issues dealing the plot’s logic but thanks to a fine ensemble cast, I’m able to overlook any of the script’s shortcomings; it gets the job done with both the crime and comedy. The Blu-ray offers up solid video and audio transfers a good amount of features with a better selection than what I’ve seen lately from other studios.

Rush Hour might be just another entry into the buddy cop subgenre, but thanks in large part to the interesting and unique pairing of loudmouth Chris Tucker and fantastic martial artist Jackie Chan, the movie succeeds quite well and has stood the test of time, albeit just over a decade now. The Blu-ray doesn’t look the greatest and is only a moderate upgrade over its DVD counterpart, but the audio does offer a good boost and most of the features have been ported over.
