Predators may not have been as successful of a franchise reboot as last year’s Star Trek in terms of quality, but as someone who wasn’t as enamored with the original as some, I thought there were some elements that did work and the casting was well done. The Blu-ray has good audio and video presentations and the features are pretty good.

Romeo + Juliet may not have struck the right chord for me, but in this case I can actually understand how someone may become immersed in the film as Luhrmann’s visuals are fantastic and the performances all around are actually pretty good especially considering the old Shakespeare dialogue they had to use.

I’m not entirely sure how The Rig even got financing since you don’t have any major talent outside of William Forsythe and while he is a great character actor and provides some much needed depth versus the acting from many unknowns forced to read a less than stellar script with terrible dialogue.

Yes, I’m as worried as you that I actually somewhat enjoyed Stomp the Yard: Homecoming. The movie has enough stupidity for me to enjoy for the runtime and for some reason I wasn’t entirely bored throughout the flick. I’m going to get myself checked out by a doctor later today, don’t worry.

GOSSIP GIRL: THE COMPLETE THIRD SEASON
Failure after failure. That’s the motto for season 3. It’s tough to even find anything here worthwhile to comment on, because I’m honestly stumped how Josh Schwartz could have let the show get so stupid and boring.

Season seven continues on with a selection of great episodes…along with some poor ones. But overall I was once again entertained by the misadventures these twenty-something year olds get into and wonder why my life is so boring and tame.
