PLOT SYNOPSIS

While moving a group of Apaches to a Native American reservation in Arizona, an American scout named Sam Varner (GREGORY PECK) is surprised to find a white woman, Sarah Carver (EVA MARIE SAINT), living with the tribe. When Sam learns that she was taken captive by an Indian named Salvaje ten years ago, he attempts to escort Sarah and her half-Native American son to his home in New Mexico. However, it soon becomes clear that Salvaje is hot on their trail.

The Stalking Moon comes to Blu-ray through the Warner Archive Collection, presented in its original 2.35 and looks brilliant in 1080p high-definition with a new transfer for this release. The picture here has excellent blend of colors for the era, detail is quite sharp and nicely defined throughout and best of all, outside perhaps a few minor specs, this is a clean video transfer.

The disc includes a standard but very effective DTS-HD Master 2.0 Mono track which outputs clear dialogue and some respectable depth, as singular tracks go, for the more action-y elements, although most of the movie is filled with quieter, dialogue-driven, moments.
