I’m not a big fan of the It’s Alive Trilogy or anything but understand its appeal amongst the horror crowd, especially in its simplicity given, at least in the first movie, you really don’t see the monster baby very much.

All three movies are housed in their own Blu-ray case which side-slides into a cardboard outer-box. The first two movies come with reversible cover artwork. It’s Alive (1974) — 3.5/5

| Each of the three movies received new 2K scans from the original film elements and honestly, each of the It’s Alive movies do look great. Detail appears relatively sharp throughout while colors pretty much look comparable to other films from the era(s). There are times where I did notice a few specs but all in all, these were relatively clean outside of the natural film grain.
The first two movies got a DTS-HD Master Audio Mono track while the third got a stereo track. None of them are particularly noteworthy, but still sounds good providing clear dialogue levels. |

Overall, I’m not a big fan of the It’s Alive Trilogy or anything but understand its appeal amongst the horror crowd, especially in its simplicity given, at least in the first movie, you really don’t see the monster baby very much. This trilogy box set is a nice value for any fan though the amount of features was a tad disappointing. |
