Never Let Go is a film that debuted in South Korea and the UK (both festivals) back in 2015 and only now seen the light of day stateside. It’s not a bad independent thriller with some decent production values and fine story, though it definitely had a Lifetime vibe in that regard.

PLOT SYNOPSIS

Following an apparent abduction, a single mother (ANGELA DIXON) desperately searches for her missing child in a beautiful but unfamiliar land. Implicated in the murder of a seemingly innocent man and unable to trust anyone, she weaves her way through murky backstreets and barren landscapes – but her connections back in the U.S. reveal that there is much more at stake than first meets the eye.

VIDEO – 3.5/5, AUDIO – 3.75/5

Sony releases Never Let Go on DVD with an anamorphic widescreen 1.78 aspect ratio and shows off the Moroccan landscape rather well and includes an effective, if not a tad bass-heavy, Dolby Digital 5.1 track.

OVERALL – 2.5/5

Overall, Never Let Go is a film that debuted in South Korea and the UK (both festivals) back in 2015 and only now seen the light of day stateside. It’s not a bad independent thriller with some decent production values and fine story, though it definitely had a Lifetime vibe in that regard. The DVD is very basic with no features and standard audio/video transfers.
