Universal Home Entertainment has announced the date and released artwork for the fantasy-adventure, The Mummy starring Tom Cruise, Russell Crowe, Annabelle Wallis, Sofia Boutella and Jake Johnson and directed by Alex Kurtzman. Universal Home Entertainment has announced a September 12, 2017 release date for The Mummy. The 4K UHD and Blu-ray will come with Dolby Atmos tracks while the DVD will have the usual Dolby Digital 5.1 audio mix. The 4K will retail for $44.98, the Blu-ray for $34.98 while the DVD will go for $29.98.

Synopsis: Thought safely entombed deep beneath the desert, an ancient princess (Sofia Boutella, Star Trek Beyond, Kingsman: The Secret Service) whose destiny was unjustly taken from her is awakened in our current day. Her malevolence has grown over millennia and with it come terrors that defy human comprehension. From the sands of the Middle East through modern-day London, The Mummy balances wonder, thrills, and imagination.
