Dave is a nice movie filled with fine performances from Kevin Kline and Sigourney Weaver. Sure, it’s predictable and more than outlandish in its premise (bit of a stretch that he looks exactly like the President), but it’s one I’ve had fun watching throughout the years. The Blu-ray is on the disappointing side with average audio/video transfers and a sparse amount of features.

Pet Sematary never was one of my favorite movies but I suppose to some of the other Stephen King adaptations, it’s one of the better releases. The Blu-ray itself has a few OK features, as well as average video/audio transfers. If you can nab this at a good price (around $10), then it might be worth picking up.

Twentieth Century Fox has announced the date and released artwork for the animated adventure comedy, Ice Age: Continental Drift starring the voice talents of Ray Romano, John Leguizamo, Denis Leary, Queen Latifah, Seann William Scott and Simon Pegg. It is the fourth movie in the popular franchise.

“NCIS: LA” is one of the few spin-offs that actually works. It’s far enough removed from the mothership and yet shares the same type of chemistry that takes the show away from crime-of-the-week to something a bit more meaningful. The third season DVD has some good storylines going for it, allowing for each character to get some screen time and more background.
