Predators may not have been as successful of a franchise reboot as last year’s Star Trek in terms of quality, but as someone who wasn’t as enamored with the original as some, I thought there were some elements that did work and the casting was well done. The Blu-ray has good audio and video presentations and the features are pretty good.
Romeo + Juliet may not have struck the right chord for me, but in this case I can actually understand how someone may become immersed in the film as Luhrmann’s visuals are fantastic and the performances all around are actually pretty good especially considering the old Shakespeare dialogue they had to use.
While it’s not one of my favorite Disney animated films as a kid, it still holds up very well almost twenty years later. The Blu-ray just screams ‘awesome’, and any fan of films will want to buy it. Now where is The Lion King?
This RoboCop Trilogy doesn’t look or sound too bad especially when you take each film’s age into consideration, but the fact that MGM left off all the features from the 20th Anniversary Edition (it included a commentary, deleted scenes, featurettes and more) is almost unforgivable.
I appreciate the passion the filmmakers had making Night of the Demons with the dark humor as well as paying respects to the original, but unfortunately it did not translate well in the final product as the story never worked for me and the acting, even from this group, was spotty.

I’m not entirely sure how The Rig even got financing since you don’t have any major talent outside of William Forsythe and while he is a great character actor and provides some much needed depth versus the acting from many unknowns forced to read a less than stellar script with terrible dialogue.
Diehard fans of “Scrubs” will likely have no interest in the retooled show, so I’m sad to say, you’re better off skipping this. Episodes not appearing in the correct aspect ratio really tick me off, so I just can’t recommend a purchase.
